Bring your own:
Before leaving the house, you must self-assess for any Covid-19 symptoms. These include:
If you - or any person in your household or support bubble - experiences any of these symptoms, has had a positive test for Covid-19, or has been told by NHS Track and Trace to self-isolate, you must not attend training and you must notify your CCP and the CO immediately. See Section V for further details.
If you have returned to the UK from a country that is not on the UK travel corridor list and you are required to quarantine for 14 days, you must not attend training during that time.
Participants with underlying health issues or risk factors (for e.g. being from communities or groups with higher risk of Covid-19, including black, asian and minority ethnic participants) should consider whether they can return to hockey safely at this time. It will be a personal decision for each individual; nobody should return until they feel safe to do so.
Wash your hands for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser.
On arrival at training, register attendance with your team CCP and/or coach.
At both JO and LV Pitch 1, enter the pitch via side gate. Do not enter the LV and JO buildings unless necessary to use the toilet facilities or register your car.
No changing facilities will be available.
Wear masks inside the buildings.
When play stops, maintain distance from other players.
Off the pitch, maintain social distance and do not congregate in groups of more than six people either before or after training.
No spectators are allowed at Lee Valley or John Orwell.
Where there is more than one group playing on the pitch (e.g. L1 and M3 at LV on Mondays), start times will be staggered to minimise contact between groups. Please respect these start times.

At JO, players may move on-site equipment if hands are sanitized before and after.
Do not use other players’ equipment, including water bottles.
Do not handle the team’s equipment; only touch balls and cones with your stick or feet.
Try to minimise the number of times you handle your gum shield.
Reduce shouting and do not spit.
Tackling is now permitted; however, avoid full body contact where possible.
During training matches, do not shake hands with the opposition or touch team mates during celebrations.
If you experience any symptoms while at the hockey venue, you must return home immediately and notify your CCP and the CO.
Parents and guardians of junior members must ensure that junior members have their own equipment, labelled with their name, and must not congregate in groups of more than six on the sidelines.
